Sources and References
We rank sources by how close they are to the facts, and the casino's own current terms always beat anything written about them elsewhere.

How we rank sources
Not all sources are equal. A bonus figure on the casino's terms page is evidence; the same figure on a forum is a rumour. We use a simple hierarchy.
| Tier | Source type | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Primary | Trixino Casino's own site: promotion pages, full T&Cs, bonus terms, payment and help pages, the cashier as displayed | Offers, conditions, methods, account rules |
| 1. Primary | Game studios' own information and in-game help panels | RTP, volatility descriptions, game features |
| 1. Primary | Regulators and official bodies | Licensing checks, consumer rights, data protection |
| 2. Expert | Recognised UK support charities and services | Safer gambling advice, helplines, blocking tools |
| 3. Context | Reputable news reporting about the industry | Background only, never for product facts |
Primary sources we use regularly
The casino itself
Trixino Casino's promotion pages, general terms and bonus terms are our first stop for anything about offers, wagering, payments or verification. Because these change, we always tell you to check the current T&Cs on the casino site before relying on any figure.
Game studios
Studios such as Play'n GO, NetEnt, Pragmatic Play and Evolution publish details of their games, including theoretical return to player. Some games exist in more than one RTP version, so the figure in the casino's in-game help panel is the one that applies to you.
Regulators and official bodies
- UK Gambling Commission public register: to check whether an operator holds a British licence.
- Information Commissioner's Office: UK data protection guidance, which shapes our privacy and cookie policies.
Support services
- GamCare, which runs the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
- BeGambleAware, for advice and self-assessment tools.
- GAMSTOP, the self-exclusion scheme for operators licensed in Great Britain.
Hands-on observation
Some facts can only be seen, not read: how a lobby is arranged, whether a game opens in demo mode, how the cashier looks on a phone. These come from Harriet's own walk-throughs, and we describe them as observations on a given date rather than permanent features.
Sources we avoid
- Other affiliate or review sites, for any factual claim about the product.
- Forum posts and social media screenshots, except as a prompt to check something ourselves.
- Press releases, unless clearly attributed as the casino's own claim.
On product pages we link to external sources where they genuinely help you verify something yourself. We do not link to the casino's T&Cs directly from every sentence, because those addresses change; instead we tell you where on the casino site to find them.
How we cite
On guides and articles, we link to an external source within the sentence it supports, so you can check it in one tap. On product pages, where the source is usually the casino's own terms, we name where on the casino site the information sits, for example "the bonus terms linked from the promotion page" or "the payment methods listed in the cashier". When we quote a figure that can change, we say so and invite you to confirm it.
Keeping sources current
Links are checked when pages are reviewed. If you find a broken or outdated reference, let us know.
