Editorial Policy

This page explains who decides what we publish, how it is written and checked, and how commercial links are kept away from editorial judgement.

Updated

Our purpose

trixinocasino.co presents the Trixino Casino product to UK readers: the lobby, the games, the offers, the VIP club and the everyday mechanics of paying in, cashing out and getting help. Our job is to describe that product accurately and usefully, so readers can decide for themselves whether it suits them. Persuading anyone to gamble is not part of the brief.

Editorial independence

The site earns commission through partner links (see our affiliate disclosure). That makes independence something we have to protect deliberately rather than assume. In practice:

  • Trixino Casino and its marketing partners do not review, approve or edit our pages before they go live.
  • No one can pay to remove a caveat, a safer gambling note or a description of restrictive terms.
  • Commission levels have no bearing on what we write about a game, offer or payment method.
  • If we are ever asked to change content for commercial reasons, we decline, and we will say so on this page if the pressure becomes a pattern.

How a page is made

  1. Brief. We start from a reader question, for example "how does a multi-deposit welcome package work?" or "will my bank block the deposit?", not from a keyword list.
  2. Research. We gather primary sources: the casino's current promotion pages and T&Cs, game studio information, regulator and charity websites. Our sources policy lists what counts.
  3. Hands-on look. Where a page describes the product, Harriet looks at the relevant part of the lobby on desktop and mobile rather than relying on press material.
  4. Writing. Plain British English, short paragraphs, tables where they help. Figures that can change are attributed and dated.
  5. Checking. Every claim is checked against our fact-checking policy before publication.
  6. Publication and review. Each page shows an "Updated" date, and offer pages are reviewed weekly.

What we will not publish

  • Licence numbers, regulator claims or company details we cannot verify.
  • Specific wagering multipliers, withdrawal limits or processing times stated as fact without a current source. Where these matter, we tell you to check the current T&Cs on the casino site.
  • Invented user reviews, ratings, testimonials, awards or press quotes.
  • Claims that gambling is a way to make money, solve debts or improve your mood.
  • Content aimed at, or likely to appeal particularly to, under-18s.

Tone and language

We borrow some of the brand's magic-show playfulness on the lobby pages, because that is what the product looks like. We drop it entirely when the subject is money, verification, limits or harm. A rabbit pulled out of a hat is fun; a rabbit pulled out of the small print is not. Our full style rules sit in our content standards.

Updates and corrections

Casino promotions change often. When an offer, method or feature changes, we update the page and its date. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the page concerned. Readers can report problems through the contact page.

Responsibility

Editorial responsibility for the whole site sits with Harriet Cole, content lead. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@trixinocasino.co.
